V&T EcoDriveCN® medium voltage reduced voltage motor soft starters on fans and draught fans

V&T EcoDriveCN® motor soft starters are applicable to all heavy-duty motors applied in commercial and industrial environment, such as induced draft fans, fan blowers, desulfurization booster fans, mill fans, boiler feed pumps, dedusting blowers, exhaust fans, water circulating pumps, blast furnace blowers, compressors, chillers, compressors, ball mills, chippers, shredders, aggregate crushers, rubber mills, coal mills.

Technical parameters of V&T EcoDriveCN® soft starter cabinet on site:
Initial voltage: 50%.
Current limit: 270% Ie.
Start ramp: 12 sec.


Before retrofitting:
Air volume of the fan is small, can't meet the requirements of environmental protection. Medium voltage AC drive was used before. But this medium voltage AC frequency drive alarm and fail frequently. The medium-voltage distribution room is a bit far away. The voltage of mains is just about 9kv. It demands low starting current.

After retrofitting:
Install a new and larger power fan. Use hydraulic coupling to connect the motor and the fan. Use high performance V&T EcoDriveCN® medium voltage reduced voltage motor soft starters (built-in circuit breaker and motor protection equipment).
